Today, the 18th edition of Arab Media Forum is going to start with many media persons and important industry leaders. The event aims to develop the future of journalism.
The forum is being held under the theme ‘Arab Media: From Now to the Future’. More than 200 prominent reporters and 75 speakers attending the event from more than 20 countries from across the Arab region and the world.
The high-profile event has been organized by the Dubai Press Club and held under the patronage of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The forum aims to explore a range of new trends which will help to advance the industry as well as it will reveal new technologies which will play a vital role in the global development of the industry.
This year the forum will deeply go through the current state of media and the impact of regional and global events on the media discourse. This year, the Media Forum will also feature a series of panel discussions, such as ‘Media Vs Politics’; ‘Combating Hate Speech’; ‘The Future of TV’; ‘The Future of Newspapers’; ‘The Podcast Revolution’; and ‘The State of Arab Media’.
