The Indian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates issued an alert to its citizens concerning some fraudsters who demand to portray the mission. Through a public notice, which has been posted on Twitter by Embassy, the mission appealed Indians to exercise prudence against the unknown callers. The callers which use the telephone number 02-4492700 claim to portray the mission. The frauds ask victims to submit money in the different bank accounts in The Indian Embassy pleaded its citizens for avoiding, as well as entertaining such calls. Those who do receive them are recommended to warn the mission via email.

Proceeding it one step further, the mission has also obtained touch with the authorities in the UAE for preventing the fraudulent calls.  He mentions the name of the Indian Embassy.
