An associate of the Saudi team that assassinated the columnist of Washington Post as well as Saudi Journalist Jamal Khashoggi shortly made a call through cell phone after the mysterious death of the journalists informing someone in Saudi Arabia and instructing to “tell your boss” that the planned execution has been accomplished.
The people familiar with the call stated that the message had been reached to the specific person who was supervising the team which assassinated Saudi Journalist Khashoggi on 2nd October in Istanbul, inside the Saudi Consulate and after the murder they dissolved his dead body into acid. But they added that the officials of the United States and Europe had not to get proper evidence who was referred to as “ your boss”.
Although the investigation officials of multiple countries claimed that the assassination of Saudi Journalist Khashoggi could not be executed without the appreciation of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman who is the key ally of the Trump Administration in the Arabian World, Saudi officials completely refused about the responsibility of Crown Prince for the Khashoggi’s death.
The New York Times reported about the death of Khashoggi based on the phone call that spread the message about the killing of Saudi Journalist.
According to a senior Turkish official, the government of Turkey permitted the director of CIA, Gina Haspel to concentrate on the audio recording of the mysterious slaying that occurred inside the consulate and the disputed tele conversation between the murder team and Saudi Arabia. According to the report, the US officials heard an audio of the phone call in which the “boss” is referred to someone.
Turkey presumed that the United States has the details about the recorded Saudi Communications, beyond the collected information by Turkish intelligence.
US National Security Advisor John Bolton said that the suspected audio recording did not prove any link between Crown Prince and the killers. Saudi officials claimed that the Turkish intelligence officials have not handed over the suspected audio which includes the term “tell your boss”.
