The United Arab Emirates feel sad over the European Union’s decision to include the nation on a list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes. Though the UAE was cooperating with the European Union on this issue and ongoing efforts to fulfill all the requirements, the EU took the decision.

The long-standing policy of the UAE to fulfill the highest international standards on taxation was firmly committed by the country. It also included the OECD’s requirements and that UAE will continue its domestic legislative framework.

As the advancement of this comment, the UAE has shared with the EU a detailed timeline of actions that it is currently implementing in accordance with its sovereign legal process and constitutional requirements.
