Two South Indian colleagues from the State of Kerala will allocate the biggest prize drawing show in the history of the UAE after their winning of Dh15 million Big Ticket Abu Dhabi drawing on Thursday.

Sarath Purushothaman of 34 years old and his colleague 36 years  Prasanth Surendran Nair who works as a fire alarm technician and an electrical director respectively with National Fire Fighting Manufacturing Company Limited, escaped home on the night to share the joy that came in the New Year with their families staying in the same district – Thiruvananthapuram.

The duo, who have served their duties together for more than 10 years, sprinted to catch the earliest flight available.

Sarath, the individual whose ticket No. 083733 was published told, “ We are on the way to Sharjah Airport as we got tickets on the midnight flight from Sharjah”.

For Prasanth, who stays in Jumeirah Village Circle, arriving home is a happier occasion as his as his family is glorifying the labeling ceremony of his daughter who was born a month ago.

The jubilant father said, “ I never imagined I will be going back for the ceremony like this as I had just come back on December 9 after my wife’s delivery. Our daughter has really turned out to be our lucky charm”.

Sarath who lives in Jebel Ali Industrial Area claimed the first thing he interested to do was also to see his mother. While Big Ticket officials informed him about the first response of Sarath about his bumper prize. He claimed he was also craving to see his wife and seven-month-old child.
