On Thursday, a vehicle loaded with gas cylinders overturned on Arabian Street in Abu Dhabi. According to the report of the Abu Dhabi police accident occurred after the vehicle jumped a red signal.

After the Civil Defence got informed they rushed to the site to ensure that the gas didn’t explode. They immediately removed the bottles and made the area safe.

Captain Faisal Rashid Al Dhanhani, Director of Serious Accident Investigation Branch at Abu Dhabi Traffic Department, said it was discovered after an  investigation that the reason of the crash was the truck driver went through a red light signal.

The operation room after receiving the call immediately sent cops, ambulance along with fire brigade to the incident but luckily the gas did not explode and no one got injured.

Abu Dhabi Police have already warned motorists, not to jump red lights and requested people to maintain the traffic rules for the safety of their own as well as others.
