The Post authority of United Arab Emirates Issued a commemorative stamp for marking Human Fraternity meeting held in Abu Dhabi between the Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, and  Dr. Ahmed el-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar Al Sharif. The stamp is engraved with the image of the two leading religious figures. It also exemplifies the humanitarian message of the UAE and its desire to boost interfaith dialogue and the induration of good and peace throughout the world.

Abdullah Mohammed Al Ashram, Deputy,  Group CEO of Emirates Post Group told, “The historic visit of His Holiness Pope Francis and His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb spreads a message of love, tolerance, and peace around the world and aims to establish our homeland as the global capital for tolerance and coexistence.

“We are proud to issue this commemorative stamp as a testimony of this visit and to show our pride in our nation’s experience and the long legacy of peaceful coexistence. ”

The pope held discussions with the Grand Imam before releasing an address at an interfaith meeting. In his address, the pontiff forced the requirement for justice, equality of citizen’s rights and an end of all wars, including in Yemen.
