On Wednesday a crew of 13 Indians was rescued by the firefighters of Sharjah. The Indians were in a ship which suddenly caught fire at Khalid Port.

Major Hani Al Naqbi, Director of Media and Public Relation Department at Sharjah Civil Defence, told reporters that the ship was loaded with 6,000 gallons of diesel,120 vehicles, and 300 tyres. All the cargo were gutted the massive fire.

The police were informed about the fire around 6.44 am and the firefighters immediately rushed to the site and controlled the blaze at 7.25 am. The cooling down process is going on.
