It has been forecasted by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) that several parts of the country especially the northern and eastern areas along with coastal areas will have scattered rainfall which has started from Wednesday evening.
The agency has also predicted there have chances to fresh cloud formation which may lead to scattered rainfall in the UAE. It has also said that the rainfall will continue till Thursday morning.
The rainfall is caused by a combination of surface low pressure and upper air low pressure leading to cloud formations from the west. NCM is guessing that it will continue till March 1, Friday.
The Oman Sea visitors were advised by the NCM to be careful of fresh wind along with cloud formation, on Wednesday.
The NCM in a statement said that the speed of the wind is expected to reach 45 km/h while the height of the wave was predicted to be between 4 to 6 ft, until 5 AM on Thursday.
