On Sunday, Egypt has organized the Arab League-European Union, EU, Summit in Sharm Al Shaikh. After arriving in the city of Egypt Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah highlighted its crucial role in international efforts to oppose terrorism and establish peace in the Middle East region.
After arriving there Shaikh Hamad described the strategic economic relations between UAE and Egypt based on common respect, mutual interest. According to him, it will help to establish peace, stability, and development in the region.
”One of the core pillars of the UAE’s foreign policy is to promote humanitarian work and back international efforts to address disasters and catastrophes,” he stated.
The European Union and the Arab world maintain lively and economic relations said, Shaikh Hamad.
He also claimed that the summit will raise the opportunities for a wider constructive dialogue and offer a platform to discuss a wide range of issues and common challenges, such as trade, investment, multilateralism, migration, security, and many others.
Sheikh Hamad was welcomed by Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, and a number of top Egyptian officials.
