Dubai: For cursing, beating, and kicking wife out of his house a man has been jailed for six months. The man even threatening to kill her off she returned. The Emirates 43-year-old man and his Iranian wife had a heated argument before he beat her with clothes, hanger and injured her. The man also tried to curse his wife before his 16-year-old stepson intervened to stop him from choking his mother. After throwing her wife out from his home the Emirati man relayed a message to his wife, that he would kill her if she returned home.

The court of Dubai has convicted the husband of assaulting and crushing his wife and verbally threatening to kill her. Hence, the primary judgement ordered to accused to pay Dh21,000 in temporary civil compensation to the victim.

While rejecting all his accusations in court the accused pleaded not guilty. The accused also told to a court that “ I did not beat or curse her, I did not threaten her. She went out of the house on her own, I do not ask her to do so”

In the court, the wife mentioned the incident and said she had a heated argument with her husband, who beat her brutally with a hanger. She added “ We had a fight at 3 am and then he beat and cursed me. He kicked me out of the house and called me a prostitute. He asked me to go back to my parents’ house and never return. My 16-year-old son jumped pushed him away when he tried to choke me. He kicked me and my children out of the house. He also threatened to kill me”

The stepson also said that he saved his mother when his father tried to suffocate and trouble her.
