On Thursday, it was announced that the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) is going to hold its sixth Crisis and Emergency Management Conference on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. The event has been scheduled from March 11-12.
This year the theme of the event has been decided “Future Foresight of Emergencies and Crises: Capabilities and Challenges”.
Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor will be supervising the event which is going to explore issues and vital topics for the future of crisis and disaster management namely artificial intelligent (AI) and policies and frameworks which is aimed to reduced disasters.
It has been stated by Dr. Jamal Mohammad Al Hosani, the Director-General of NCEMA that the conference will focus on the future of artificial intelligence technologies. It aims to explore Singapore’s experience and protection from crises as well as how to best employ this technology to counter and predict crises and enhance preparedness to manage major events.
